Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham for the father of a multitude of nations have I made thee. Genesis 17.5

And God said unto Abraham, And as for thee, thou shalt keep my covenant, thou, and thy seed after thee throughout their generations. Genesis 17.9

And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be. Genesis 17.15

Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is a hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear? Genesis 17.17

And Abraham said unto God, Oh that Ishmael might live before thee! Genesis 17.18

And he left off talking with him, and God went up from Abraham. Genesis 17.22

And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all that were born in his house, and all that were bought with his money, every male among the men of Abraham's house, and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin in the selfsame day, as God had said unto him. Genesis 17.23

And Abraham was ninety years old and nine, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin. Genesis 17.24

In the selfsame day was Abraham circumcised, and Ishmael his son. Genesis 17.26

And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes. Genesis 18.6

And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetched a calf tender and good, and gave it unto the servant and he hasted to dress it. Genesis 18.7

Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well stricken in age it had ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women. Genesis 18.11

And Jehovah said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, who am old? Genesis 18.13

And the men rose up from thence, and looked toward Sodom: and Abraham went with them to bring them on the way. Genesis 18.16

And Jehovah said, Shall I hide from Abraham that which I do Genesis 18.17

seeing that Abraham had surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? Genesis 18.18

For I have known him, to the end that he may command his children and his household after him, that they may keep the way of Jehovah, to do righteousness and justice to the end that Jehovah may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him. Genesis 18.19

And the men turned from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before Jehovah. Genesis 18.22

And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou consume the righteous with the wicked? Genesis 18.23

And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, who am but dust and ashes: Genesis 18.27
