The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. Matthew 1.1

Abraham begat Isaac and Isaac begat Jacob and Jacob begat Judah and his brethren Matthew 1.2

So all the generations from Abraham unto David are fourteen generations and from David unto the carrying away to Babylon fourteen generations and from the carrying away to Babylon unto the Christ fourteen generations. Matthew 1.17

But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and Lazarus in like manner evil things: but now here he is comforted and thou art in anguish. Luke 16.25

But Abraham saith, They have Moses and the prophets let them hear them. Luke 16.29

And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one go to them from the dead, they will repent. Luke 16.30

And Jesus said unto him, To-day is salvation come to this house, forasmuch as he also is a son of Abraham. Luke 19.9
