And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold, behind a ram caught in the thicket by his horns. And Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt-offering in the stead of his son. Genesis 22.13

And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh. As it is said to this day, In the mount of Jehovah it shall be provided. Genesis 22.14

And the angel of Jehovah called unto Abraham a second time out of heaven, Genesis 22.15

So Abraham returned unto his young men, and they rose up and went together to Beer-sheba. And Abraham dwelt at Beer-sheba. Genesis 22.19

And it came to pass after these things, that it was told Abraham, saying, Behold, Milcah, she also hath borne children unto they brother Nahor. Genesis 22.20

And Bethuel begat Rebekah. These eight did Milcah bear to Nahor, Abraham's brother. Genesis 22.23

And Sarah died in Kiriath-arba (the same is Hebron), in the land of Canaan. And Abraham came to mourn for Sarah, and to weep for her. Genesis 23.2

And Abraham rose up from before his dead, and spake unto the children of Heth, saying, Genesis 23.3

And the children of Heth answered Abraham, saying unto him, Genesis 23.5

And Abraham rose up, and bowed himself to the people of the land, even to the children of Heth. Genesis 23.7

Now Ephron was sitting in the midst of the children of Heth. And Ephron the Hittite answered Abraham in the audience of the children of Heth, even of all that went in at the gate of his city, saying, Genesis 23.10

And Abraham bowed himself down before the people of the land. Genesis 23.12

And Ephron answered Abraham, saying unto him, Genesis 23.14

And Abraham hearkened unto Ephron. And Abraham weighed to Ephron the silver which he had named in the audience of the children of Heth, four hundred shekels of silver, current with the merchant. Genesis 23.16

unto Abraham for a possession in the presence of the children of Heth, before all that went in at the gate of his city. Genesis 23.18

And after this, Abraham buried Sarah his wife in the cave of the field of Machpelah before Mamre (the same is Hebron), in the land of Canaan. Genesis 23.19

And the field, and the cave that is therein, were made sure unto Abraham for a possession of a burying-place by the children of Heth. Genesis 23.20

And Abraham was old, well stricken in age. And Jehovah had blessed Abraham in all things. Genesis 24.1

And Abraham said unto his servant, the elder of his house, that ruled over all that he had, Put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh. Genesis 24.2

And Abraham said unto him, Beware thou that thou bring not my son thither again. Genesis 24.6
